HUTTERITE WOOL WINDER
A pine wool winder, Canadian Hutterite origin with original bright orange paint.

Obtained from a Canadian picker (not Sheldon nor Scott) in Edmonton, Alberta.
MENNONITE CORNER CUPBOARD
Original grain-painted surface over yellow undercoat with traditional black trim. Obtained near Russell, MB c.1994.
Note raised centre-panel door, drawer from soap-box construction ! Back foot added c.1940 to convert to floor-standing. Missing gallery replaced c.1998, ref. figs 463, 465, p.279 “Canadian Country Furniture” 1994.
UKRAINIAN PINE CUPBOARD
Incredible Canadian Ukrainian pine 1-piece cupboard with scalloped top, original light- green surface, hand-painted yellow/ brown grain-paint design !
Size is 74″ high, 40″ wide, bottom 24″ deep; bottom part is 43″ high with 31″ upper cupboard with glazed doors. Chamfer-panel lower doors.
Superb oxidation to inside & to back !
ENGLISH DRESSER / PEWTER CUPBOARD
18th C oak 2-piece dish dresser or pewter cupboard.
Back with 3 shelves; on base with 3 drawers, arched arcades over pot-board shelf; all on through-stile legs. Original back-boards.
Base is 58″ wide, 31″ high, 78″ high overall. Probably Yorkshire c. 1770.
History: in Eaton’s Winnipeg main store since 1935 as pieces to display “goods”, bottom on 2nd floor, top on 1st floor !!
