Tikanagan (baby carrier) for child’s doll, a good replica of full-size carrier for baby.

HURON DOLL TIKANAGAN c.1900

Pine, cloth, deerskin thong construction. Size 17″ high x 8.5″ wide; front safety bar 11″ wide.

Note: strap is one-piece bentwood “safety bar”, attached with clenched square-head nails.

PRICE: $495.

Made c. 1900,obtained by WPG family on East shore of Lake Superior in 1940s, thence to me.

Pair of Aesthetic movement 19th C andirions, c. 1870-1880. Cast brass pierced roundels 7.5″ diameter; stand overall 25″ high on hand-made wrought iron frames.

Measure 29″ overall front-to-back, taking a very deep fireplace !

Unmarked, but of obvious quality.

French bronze champleve inkstand c. 1870, 14.5″ wide, 8.5″ deep. Fired muticolour enamel covers all upper surfaces in recessed spaces to create full rococo design !

With 2 hinge-cover inkwells holding original glass liners; 2 C-scroll rests provide support for dip-pen. All on 4 ball feet.
